 Retired, first-time author's book is fiction

 based on true events. 

  I use my story as a vessel to tell what it is like to live with mental illness in the hopes of compassion for those who fight to survive. The stigma surrounding this illness keeps some from seeking help. My hope is that many will open their hearts to understand the depth of pain endured. I have shared with many and have learned even more when listening to their stories. My story is based on true events because dates, names, and places are insignificant. The story is the illness told through glimpses of different events that led me back to a calm mind. Thank you to everyone who helped me in my journey.
